About the Chef

Hi, I'm Karen Pringle, founder of Hummingbird Personal Chef Services which include catering, customized meals, cooking classes and so much more. My team and I specialize in, but are not limited to vegan cuisine, desserts, cocktail parties, Canadian, Caribbean, Asian and Italian cuisine. Our flagship lineup of vegan patties is a well-known staple in the GTA.


I am a Red Seal certified Chef and a graduate of George Brown College’ Culinary Management and Liaison for Personal Chef program. For over ten years, I have been working for catering companies, conferences and restaurants such as Oliver and Bonacini Café Grill.

Your local gourmet

The majority of the ingredients we use are local. We produce food in much the same way that we produce food in our home kitchen, with fresh ingredients that we select ourselves to provide the tastiest menu to make your dining experience memorable. 


We have catered in-home and office parties, weddings, birthday parties, Lunch n’ Learn’s for Brampton Civic Hospital and Brampton Entrepreneur Centre at Brampton City Hall as well as brunch meetings for Wee Watch Enriched Home Childcare Agency and The Bhive Business Development Centre of Brampton & Toronto.
